The World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition unites the globe on World Pancreatic Cancer Day, Nov. 19, to bring attention to pancreatic cancer. Throughout Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month in November, we highlight the need for greater awareness, funding, and research. By standing in unison against this deadly disease, we can create a brighter future for people fighting pancreatic cancer around the world.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the world’s deadliest cancers. It is the sixth leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally among major cancers, with a five-year survival rate that remains in the single digits in many parts of the world.
This year alone, an estimated 531,000 people worldwide will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and nearly 490,000 will lose their lives to the disease.
Throughout November, culminating on World Pancreatic Cancer Day on November 19, the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition will once again unite people and organizations around the world to elevate the global conversation about pancreatic cancer. Together, we can help more people recognize the symptoms and risk factors, encourage earlier diagnosis and inspire action to improve outcomes.
We invite you to join us in raising awareness this #WPCD. Every voice helps bring greater visibility to a disease that urgently needs more attention.
