These funds will help explore treatment options or novel therapies for patients

Dr. Aditi Jain (Research Instructor, Dept. of Surgery), Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA

I'm glad PCCF has given us such pilot fundings over the years and together with this and my recently acquired PanCan Career Development Award these funds will definitely encourage me to go further and keep working for pancreatic cancer and hopefully find a treatment option or novel therapies for the patients in the future.

Thank you PCCF for allowing us to continue our studies

Dr. Avionam Nevler (Surgeon Scientist & Asst. Professor), Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA

My research is mostly about the ability to translate things that we find in the lab and in our animals into actual human studies and intellectual therapies. It's very hard to get funding for these types of studies and the ability to get some seed funding to start and get some preliminary data that can support larger funding opportunities is essential in this type of work. This is why I want to thank PCCF for allowing us to continue our studies and giving us this opportunity.

It’s not only to make great discoveries but it’s mostly to have an impact on the patients

Dr. Janusz Franco-Barraza (Research Associate), Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA

We are very grateful to PCCF because this amazing gift is really going to help us to continue researching pancreatic cancer, which is one of the most deadly cancers right now around the world. With this type of philanthropy, we not only get access to funds that can help us to continue researching but also put us closer to the real people who could benefit from this research. It's not only to make great discoveries but it's mostly to have an impact on the patients that are the ones really suffering from this disease. We are very grateful to the Pancreatic Cancer Cure Foundation for the amazing gift that they are giving us today because we believe that we could really make a change in the fate of these patients.

PCCF’s donation allows patients to focus on treatment

Broc Pollinger (Care Management Supervisor), St. Lukes Cancer Center, Upper Bucks County

My name is Broc Pollinger, Care Management Supervisor here at St. Luke's University Health Network. We wanted to thank you very much for your donation to the Cancer and Compassion fund. This compassion fund helps our patients tremendously — it allows them to worry less about things like a broken refrigerator or a broken part on their car. This allows them to focus on treatment, the thing that matters most at this time. We want to thank you greatly for that donation.

Thank you PCCF for your generous support

Melissa Siegfried (Director of Development), St. Lukes Cancer Center, Upper Bucks County

Dear Mike, Tony, and everyone at Pancreatic Cancer Cure Foundation,

Sending a heartfelt thank you for your generous support. The funds you have designated allowed us to establish the Pancreatic Cancer Compassion fund here at St. Luke's. This fund will help patients through their cancer journey and provide support to alleviate hardships. This means so much to our patients. Thank you!
